Da Che Lun @ Xi Men Ding

After a long walk, we decided to stop by a Japanese Restaurant to fill our tummy.

Da Che Lun

The restaurant does not have a menu for your reference, instead, the menu is all over the shop.

The unique thing about this restaurant is that they do not use the same old conveyor belt, but instead, they uses toy trains as their conveyor belt.

Salmon Sashimi

Half cooked salmon sushi

Grilled Shishamo

Grilled Scallop on seaweed - Not the best grilled scallop I had as the scallop is not really well cooked.

Soft Shell Crab Maki

Prawn and vegetables Tempura

Grilled Saba

Taipei Day 3

Waiting in line at Taipei City Hall Station to get our MRT ticket to Xi Men Ding.

Arrived at Xi Men Ding and its really crowded at that time. Many people are sitting down and waiting for some events.

Film or commercial shooting.

Starbucks

Xi Men Hong Lou.

Sand Bottle Art. Those pictures that are in the bottle are not papers, they are actually sand arts.

If you got your pet dog/s waiting for you at home, you can get some accessories as souvenirs here.

Husky relaxing while the owner get some rest too.

Shi Lin Night Market

While walking to Taipei City Hall MRT Station

Arrived at Shi Lin Night Market

Waiting in line for some deep fried whipped cream.

...and finally, got mine share of deep fried whipped cream. But it's not really that special though as the taste is nothing different with a normal whipped cream.

Just got to try a Taipei version of apam balik (turnover pancake). But it didn't meet my expectation, it was rather hard but the taste was not bad though.

There is no point going Taipei if you don't try the bubble milk tea right?

Got a cup of milky grapefruit and of course Tapioca Bubble Milk Tea!!

Dazzling Cafe Sunshine @ Xin Guang San Yue

Went to Xin Guang San Yue early in the morning for some yummy desserts at Dazzling Cafe.

But.....we were too earlier and the mall is not open yet.

After some long wait, Dazzling is open @ 11.00am! ...and guest what? We are not the only one waiting in line!

Chill grape tea with dried rose.

Strawberry Tea with fresh strawberries.

Mango crepes with fresh mangoes, mango fillings and mango ice cream. Every bites is just too juicy with so many mangoes in it.

Strawberry Honey Toast fill with fresh strawberries and strawberry ice cream. The toast is really well toasted, even with the ice cream it's still very crunchy.

Dazzling Champagne Dining & Bar

Have a drinking session night with the GF at the famous Dazzling Champagne Dining & Bar.

The place is kinda quiet when we reached as it's still early.

Earl Grey Snow Cup. A really rich earl grey tea cocktail and is a must to try if you ever drop by @ Dazzling Champagne Bar.

Elva. Not really the best cocktail I had as the taste is too light.

Spicy Sexy. This cocktail really hit the spot. It's a spicy cocktail with a touch of Vodka, Fresh Ginger, Boiron Peach Puree, Sugar Syrup and Sparkling wine.

Guess this club is a famous club in Taipei. Told the GF that we are so coming back here again with some friends to have some crazy drinking session.

Taipei Day 2

Morning Taipei 101 view

Went to grab some breads for our half day tour.

The breads really do look tempting but we already bought some from another not so tempting stall. Dang!

Bread on a stick anyone?

Time for tour! All a board!

Statue of a Buddha @ Shangri-La

Nanya Rock Formation.

Old gold manufacturing factory that is already closed down due to polluting the sea.

Island that shape like a Dragon head. Use your imagination and you'll be able to see a Dragon head and nose.

Yes, what you are seeing here are tomb stones.

Jinguashih Village. Didn't explore much around here as this is just the way we need to walk to Jiu Fen Street Market.

After a 10 minutes walk, we finally arrived at Jiu Fen Street Market.

Those are actually cartoon candies.

A uncle with a thin pastry skin + roasted grounded peanuts + ice cream...
