Olio Italian Restaurant @ Renaissance Melaka

It's a lobster month at Olio Italian Restaurant.

Freshly baked bread from the oven. Crispy yet soft bread and it goes well with the pesto and olive dip.

After looking through the lobster menu, there is nothing much to choose and so we decided to order the lobster salad. Salad was fresh but there's nothing special about it beside the lobster. Overall was not bad though.

Creamy mushroom soup.

Minestrone soup.

Grilled tuna with cous-cous on Olio's homemade tomato sauce.

Spaghetti Bolognese (chicken).

Lamb shank with grilled vegetables. The taste is good but it's not really tender though.

Roasted cod served with mashed potatoes & grilled vegetables topped with Olio's homemade sauce.

Pizza Uzzolo. A combination of thinly sliced mushroom, hams and onions.

Espresso topped with vanilla ice cream. The richness of each sip of the espresso with a spoon full vanilla ice cream, make it a perfect combination.

Tiramisu.

Piri-Piri Flaming Chicken, Don Muang airport

Since we've arrived at the airport earlier then expected, we then decide to grab some bites while waiting.
We then spooted Piri-Piri Flaming Chicken. For some reason, it does resemble to Nandos though.

Hawaiian Chicken Burger. From my first impression, I was thinking this is not going to be good as it's so plain. But to my surprise, it's really good. The bum is soft and the chicken is really tender. Do give it a try if you are at Don Muang airport.

Walk way to our gate of departure.

It was bright when I've taken this photo.

But started to rain 5 minutes later.

Ride is getting ready for our departure back to Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Fun time really do end fast and is back to the office on the next day.

Time to plan our next trip! Haha

After You Desert @ Siam Paragon

Before heading to Bangkok, the gf and I have done lots of research on what to eat in Bangkok and we found out that After You Desert Cafe is one of the famous and a must try place to go. We decided to go a day before we head home to Malaysia but there was so many people queueing and we do not have much on that day as we have some drinking session scheduled with the others. Haha

And without further ado, we head to After You Desert Cafe early in the morning on the last day before we head to the airport.

Even though it's early, there were many people already. Guess there's many other people who likes to have sweet stuff for their breakfast beside us huh? Haha

Strawberry limeade a fizzy yet refreshing drink.

Hot caramel latte.

Strawberry platter with chocolate and whipped cream.

Chocolate honey toast serve with fresh strawberries and ice cream.

Waffle serve with fresh strawberries, ice cream and drizzled with After You's homemade strawberry sauce. Every mouth watering bite is a moment to enjoy as you can feel the crunchiness of the waffle while chewing, even though it is soaked with the melting ice cream and strawberry sauce.

Hard Rock Cafe & The Club, Bangkok

Hard Rock Cafe, a definite place that I will visit if I am travelling.

From left Sex on the Beach, Asahi , Singha and Pomegranate Martini.

The thing about me going to Hard Rock Cafe is that I will always compare the bands. I am not saying the band on that day was bad but it still can't beat the one in Penang (Visited in 2010) so far. The whole cafe was so happening. I still can remember when a guy asked a girl to be his gf when the band is singing "Will you be my girl" by Jet.

Second round of drinking session is on! The Club @ Kao Shan Road.

The place was filled with crazy yet fun and friendly peoples. Haha. I still remember everyone was dancing "Oppa Gangnam Style" when me and my friend went in front. Haha. (For those who are our friend, get a wild guest who is that on the stage. Hahaha)

Day 3 - Chinatown, Bangkok

Chinatown and Yaowarat road are one of the attractions in Bangkok and it is a must go place for any travellers on their to do list.

Yaowarat Road, Sampeng Lane and all of the other street around are buzzing with activities in the day time and also night time. It is a gigantic market that are made of small shops, packed against each other.

So is anyone feeling lucky today?

Freshly squeezed pomegranate juice. A must try when you are at Chinatown.

Coconut, just the right drink for a hot day. Haha

Found another stall selling pomegranate juice and I so gotta get another one as this is super red.

And you know what? Is super sweet too! From the first sip, I thought I was drinking sugar water. Haha

No, it's not grilled sweet potatoes. It's grilled bananas!

For some reason, I think the lady knows I'm taking a photo of her. Haha

Camera shy eh?

So tempting, but couldn't  buy back. But it's a good thing as if I were to eat all those yummy sins, my cholesterol is going to shoot sky high.

To be honest, I don't really know what is this. But it do looks like the intestine of the pig?

After a long walk searching for food, we decided to choose some Chinese food. Can't really remember the name of the restaurant as I've forgotten to take a picture or the shop or menu. Anyway, I do remember there's a fat chef on the sign board. Haha

Mix seafood with garlic sauce.

Noodle with duck meat.

Noodle with Won Tan.

Fried Rice with "Char Siew".

Ginko with sweet milk. When I say sweet, it's really really sweet.
