Rosso Vivo Dine & Lounge

After a tiring day and our last night here, we decided to treat our self with a delicious Italian Cuisine. Rosso Vivo is the name and this is where the yummy italian foods are. Their head chef there is Roberto Bogni.

The bread was hot and fluffy and the deep was creamy and yummy and look who's preparing to eat haha.

Carote e Zucca (Pumpkins and Carrots Soup with Fresh Basil and Cream) - The taste of the soup was nice, but I don't really like it that much as it's a little too thick.

Tomato Seafood Soup

Ravioli di Pesce in Salsa di Curry (Seafood Ravioli with Curry Cream Sauce, Caviar and Prawn) - The aroma of this dish is just too hard to resist. I will really order a second if I wasn't so full at that time.

Capelli d'Angelo al Salmone, Asparagi e Caviale (Angel hair pasta with Smoked Salmon and Asparagus, Tossed in Carviar and Vodka Sauce).

Creamy Carbonara tossed with bacon.

Ossobuco di Vitella alla Milanese (Braised Veal Shank Served with Mashed Potatoes) - Mr Roberto really knows his way is cooking and veal as it is really tender and soft. The taste was just too yummy to describe haha.

Fritto Misto in Tempura con Gamberi, Calamari e Filletti di Pesce

Capesante Alla Veneziana al Pepe Rosa - A tender scallop dish serve with Prawns in Pink Peppercorn Creamy Sauce and Soft Polenta.

Bali Day 3

It's our third day in Bali and we start of our day by visiting Benoa Beach. Once arrive we were greeted and shown a file full of activities. But wasn't in much mood to play the water and so we decided to head to Turtle Island. The price for the trip wasn't as reasonable as I thought as it cost around 320k rupee/pax. We stop by half way through to Turtle Island to feed the fishes.

Approximately 20mins later, we arrived at our destination. There wasn't much things to do here and departed just after 30 - 45min.

We departed Benoa Beach for Uluwatu Temple. We decided to stop by a random local cafe as we were hungry. We din't really ate anything as there wasn't much variety of foods and so we just chilled out and get some photos taken of the place. Sorry that I can't provide the name, as I've missed out taking a photo of the name.

...and later in the afternoon, we've arrived at Uluwatu Temple. As you can see from the picture above, we do need to wear a robe or as the Bali people called it "sarong" in order to enter the temple. Oh...and did I mention...I really hate those monkeys! They are like professional thief, they will sneak up behind you and grab your stuff. I know, as they stole my specs while I'm not aware haha. But the people there are kind enough to help me get my specs back.

Enough of the monkey business. The next attraction we went is the Water Blow.

Bali Day 2

Woke up @ 6.00am in the morning and went to have our breakfast at The Deck Cafe.

Done our breakfast at around and went to the beach for a short walk while waiting for our tour guide.

For our first stop, we arrived at The Butterfly Globe Brand (Kopi Bali).

.....and begin our tour by visiting Bali's famous "coffee maker" the Luwak. They ate fresh coffee all they long and "processed" coffee (they will only eat the flesh and swallow the coffee seed).

The left side are the dried up "processed" coffee by the Luwak and the right side are the washed coffee.

These are the other flavors of coffee that they offer.

Coffee drawings.

After the tour, we are able to have a taste of the coffee that they manufactured and guest what? It's for FREE!

While on the way to have our lunch, the tour guide randomly stop us at a local temple. This allow us to know more about their religion.

To be honest, I really like the environment at the temple. It's really a place worth visiting.

After the temple, we went to have Babi Guling (Roasted Pig) for our lunch. Babi Guling is served with white rice, roasted pork skin, fried fats, pork intestine and mix vegetables and what is a meal in Bali without a refreshing coconut drink eh? haha. Well if you ever drop by in Bali for trip, then this is a dish that you must try.

I just couldn't resist and need to post this picture haha. Just look at those puppy dog eyes...

After the delicious meal, we stop by the rice mills. The place is really cooling as it is quite high from the city.

We then arrive at the Spice Garden.

We went for a short tour at the spice garden. The guide there a really knowledgeable regarding the herbs and explained accordingly.

The left side is the fresh coffee plant. On the right side shows the traditional way of processing coffee.

We arrive at Jimbaran (a must go place in Bali) to have our sunset seafood dinner.

We start off our dinner with a bowl of Seafood Soup. The soup is not really the best starter as it was a little too saltish.

15minutes later, our Seafood Platter and Fried Kankung finally arrive. We really enjoyed our seafood dinner and finished every bits of the food.

We were really full after dinner and decided to have a walk at Legian Street. We arrived at our destination.

While walking along Legian Street, Surfer Girl came to our attention as they are using real model to pose for their clothing.

After a long and tiring day, we concluded our day by stoping at a massage parlor and get a Balinese foot massage. The massage was really relaxing and the 1 hour foot massage just passed in a swift. The price for the foot massage was really reasonable, costing 55,000 rupiah/pax/hour.

Bali Day 1

Guess I should have started this blog a month ago.
Here goes.

Reached Bali and checked in to OCEN Bali hotel by Out Rigger. A very nice hotel and also a relaxing one. However, you do need to think twice regarding the location as it's quite a distance to Kuta.

The staff in the hotel are very friendly and treated us with a very refreshing drink. When I say refreshing, I mean refreshing haha.

The hotel is well designed and decorated. It makes you feel to live here a little longer don't you think?

The securities at the hotel is really tight. They will scan you every time when you come back to the hotel and the sad looking guy up there is the watch dog. Can't really remember his name, so lets just call him "Night Shift" haha.

It's kinda late when we reached Bali, so we to a cab and have our dinner at Hard Rock Cafe, Kuta. Always remember to take the Blue Bird Taxi if you are in Bali as they will charge the guest accordingly to the meter and will not overcharge them.

And we are in luck! The live band is just bout to get started.

Hickory-Smoked Bar-B-Que Ribs. A really tender dish of pork ribs, melted to ones taste buds the minute you put it in your mouth.

The Seafood Platter was nice and tender, but not the best I had.

Nasi Goreng with Chicken Satay. A well balance taste of fried rice and tops with two juicy Chicken Satay.

If you like a place to chill out and have a drink with your friend, then this will be a place you should visit in Bali.
