Tim Ho Wan @ IFC Mall, Central

A quick hi to the turtles before heading out for our breakfast @ Tim Ho Wan.

Tim Ho Wan @ IFC Mall

Though we headed out early to queue, the place is already fill up with people.

...and we are number 77!!

But we were lucky, as when we are queuing, it's already number 60. But will still got to wait for 45 minutes.

The combination of the bouncy prawns & the smooth & delicate wrapper gives the siew mai a very good texture.

Har Gao (Prawn Dumpling). Nothing much special about this as I feel it's kinda normal.

Pai Kuat (Steamed Pork Ribs). Soft & tender.

Prawn Chee Cheong Fun (Prawn Rice Noodle Roll). Perhaps not the best I've had. It's kinda thick & quite sticky.

Pan Fried Turnip Cake. The turnip was kinda chunky & it's also a little slimy. Though the taste was good.

Steamed rice with chicken & chinese sausage (lap cheong).

Lor Mai Fun (Sticky Rice Wrapped with Lotus Leave).

Rice was soft & it's not as sticky as I though. Taste was good too. A must try when visiting Tim Ho Wan.

Tim Ho Wan's signature roasted pork bun.

A combination of crispy pineapple bun & roasted pork. It's crispy on the outside & hot & soft on the inside. A must try dish if you ever visit Tim Ho Wan.

Guai Fan Gou (Chrysanthemum & Wolfberry Jelly). Jelly was soft & bouncy. Taste

Glutinous rice cake rolled with red bean & scraped coconut. Don't really know how to describe this. But I think it's sticky, chewy & yummy? Haha

Celebrity Cuisine @ Lan Kwai Fong Hotel, Kau U Fong

Celebrity Cuisine @ Lan Kwai Fong Hotel @ Kau U Fong.

They are awarded 2* by Michelin.

Pan Fried Turnip Pudding. Perfectly pan fried, crispy on the outside & smooth on the inside.

Steamed Crab Pincers with Egg White. Crab meats are tender & moisture and it goes perfectly well with the steam egg white.

Golden Prawns in Supreme Broth. This dish is beyond words. Prawn was cooked in perfection & it goes really well with Celebrity Cuisines' special broth.

Crab Au Gratin (Baked Stuffed Crab). Cheesy & creamy, a perfect combination. Though I feel it's more to Western style than Chinese style cooking.

Choy Sum in Superior Broth. Simply & healthy.

Steamed Rice with Seafood Served in Lotus Leaves.

The lotus leave adds a special touch to the rice that makes it really aromatic & yummy. Rice was perfectly cooked.

Fresh fruits to wash the salty taste before our desert. Fruits are really sweet. An expectation from a Michelin stared restaurant.

Sweet Red Bean Soup with Bird's Nest. A taste of home cooked dessert.

Sweet Almond Tea with Bird's Nest.
